• Platform credentials: usernames and passwords for casting platforms (stored encrypted)
• Submission preferences: match thresholds, genres, locations, role types
• Billing information: processed by Stripe — we never store card details

We also collect usage data automatically, including pages visited, features used, and submission activity.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate the Service and process automated casting submissions on your behalf
• Match you with relevant casting calls using AI scoring
• Send notifications about submissions, matches, and deadlines
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Improve the Service and develop new features
• Communicate with you about your account and the Service

3. Platform Credentials Security

Your casting platform credentials are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption before being stored in our database. Credentials are only decrypted in memory at the time of submission and are never logged or transmitted in plaintext.

We recommend using unique passwords for casting platforms and enabling two-factor authentication where available.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these circumstances:

• Service providers: Stripe (payments), Cloudinary (image storage), Resend (email), MongoDB Atlas (database)
• Legal requirements: if required by law or to protect our rights
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger or acquisition

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will permanently delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.
